The potato sticks themselves are very similar to shoestring potatoes if you've ever seen them before. The flavor is not overpowering and is probably more akin to a "spicy barbecue' type although it is nowhere close to being spicy unless you have a really low threshold for spicy foods. Even though people expecting even a mild degree of spiciness will be disappointed, the taste is good enough for you to finish the bag without a problem. I would certainly buy it again but only if I saw it in person; It took 2 months to get delivered! I ordered this on January 13 and was predicted to come, at the very latest, by March 6 but ended up taking a week beyond that before I could get my hands on it. If it weren't for that, I'd probably be fine with giving it 5 stars.

The chips are great especially since I really like Japanese snacks and spicy foods, so these are the best of both worlds. My biggest issue is these showed up a full two weeks past the estimated delivery date. I know it’s a little difficult since they are coming all the way from Japan, but still. I get deliveries from the UK all the time and they show up pretty swiftly, although I realize that’s not as far away from NYC as Japan. These are definitely not cost effective, but the price is not insane given they have to come from overseas. I have paid more for chips from Canada, which is nuts.
